Harley Davidson is a famous brand of motorcycles, and all started in 1901 when a young man by the name of William Harley produced a draft of an engine that fit on a bicycle.
In 1903 the first Harley Davidson motorcycles were made available to the public when William Harley and his friend Arthur Davidson produced a motorcycle built as a racing. It was purchased by one of his childhood friends, Enrique Meyer. During this time, the production facility of Harley Davidson was only a rough shed timber with the words "Harley Davidson Motor Company" scratched through the front door.
1905 was an important year for Harley Davidson, and he hired its first full-time employee and one of their motorcycles won a race in Chicago, putting on the map in one direction. Years and years pass, and the 1950s found Harley Davidson win races, which appeared on magazine covers with Elvis Presley, and becoming a household name among race and motorcycle enthusiasts in everywhere.
In 1983, the Harley Owners Group was formed, and was known as HOG It became the largest motorcycle club in the world to be sponsored by a factory. In just six years the club has grown to include over 90,000 members. In 1987, Harley Davidson is listed on the New York Stick, and the owners of the world realized what a wise investment they have made!
More years pass, with the invention of new Harley Davidson motorcycle on a regular, winning more races, and selling more motorcycles than any other vendor. In 2006, Harley Davidson dealer appointed the first of its motorcycles in China.
Today, Harley Davidson produces a wide variety of motorcycles that come in all styles, shapes and colors.
