Bristol Motor Speedway first race was in July 1961 with 18,000 attendees. In 2003 a record 160,000 filled the stands as Kurt Busch won his second Food City 500. All the reverse and the old concrete supports were demolished and rebuilt in 1996 and the result is seating for 160,000, 52 luxury suites and a spectacular track. Bristol Speedway events include: regular street fights, Mopar Drag Racing, Harley Davidson Drag Racing, and Junior Dragster Nationals.
In addition to competitions and events sports throughout the year, the circuit is the home of the driving schools to promote safety programs and programs to ride along. Daily departures from the song are available for $ 5 for adults, discounts for seniors and children. Tickets range in price according to the event, $ 20 advance purchase (one day) to $ 300 for a combo last weekend. Camping is available in many places with the necessary reservations, and rates range from $ 160 for every week of events to $ 840 for a reservation season with full hookups. Blue Ox offers weekly rentals and Community Coach Medallion spaces rented for the season.
Take a quick trip Sevierville and see 90 of the top muscle cars in the U.S. in the Floyd Garrett Muscle Car Museum. The museum exhibits include super stock cars, motor cars and a rare gift shop with souvenirs of NASCAR. The museum is open all year and admission is $ 9 for adults and $ 3 for children.
In the center of Nashville is Lane Motor Museum with 150 cars and motorcycles usually not seen in the U.S.. Its exhibits include microcars, amphibians and competition, as well as military and other fuel vehicles. Ticket prices for adults of 18 years is $ 5, 18 and under are free.
The circuit of Nashville is the home of the Indy 200 race Series and the Toyota Tundra NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race and more. There are several events held at the track each year, including the Sports Car Club, City Mustang Club of Music, the Corvette Connection and many driving schools and racing of all kinds.
If you are looking for the thrill of WERA Road Racing, Sport bike races or Monster Truck events, you will find everything on the Nashville circuit. Trailer Park is available in two places around the track during the weekend of racing and events. Day RV parking is free while space is available. Reservations are accepted on a first come or call base. Find your thrill on the track; Trucks motorcycles, NASCAR, Indy Car Monster until you can find all in Tennessee.
