Japanese Bike Dealers take Harleys for trade-ins?
I ride a Harley Davidson Sportster at this time and am currently making payments on it, but may want to get a sports bike before I actually pay the Sportster and I wondered if I would have to pay it and sell it or that most dealers Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, etc to take my Harley to trade in toward a new sport bike? I am making payments on it for a couple of years and I also wonder if make trade-in value and make it to the payment of the Sportster. I'm also thinking of the Harley / Buell sport bike line, which probably would be easier insofar as trade in my Sportster, but I want to see if I can expand my options from other manufacturers. There is nothing wrong with my Sportster, I enjoy it, but eventually I get into a sports bike and can not afford two, or have room for two bikes.
Do you want the answer or the short-term response? The answer is "Yes" will. The long answer is "Why?". "Surely under payment, and so easy to sell a Harley Sportster even in today's market, there is no reason why you shouldn't sell it. Even sale on Ebay should give you a better rate than the dealer! As for getting to pay, there is again there is no short answer. This is entirely up to the distributor. Some distributors, dealers and some do not. If your talking about only a few hundred dollars, then the Most probably will. If we are talking about several thousand people, some still likely, but not many. Still raise the question I asked earlier, "by why. "You can probably sell more quickly by trade, and pay the Sportster. The Buells are good, and I'm sure your friends give you a time drive a Harley trade for a bike in Japan. Obviously the Japanese bikes being cheaper, and I'm guessing since the payment of the Sportster, which require Buells a little more $ $ $. If you already have a license and a bicycle, many dealers will let you test drive the bikes. If your Harley allows, you should test the Buell. If you like, and you can afford it, can be a good "medium" between the Harley and Japanese bikes. If you want to save some money and just want to get a sports bike to have fun with, not to be missed with the Japanese bikes. I hope that helps!-BRF
